I loved the album so much but I knew this autumn-like very adult melancholy could mean one thing: GOOD BYE....I cried for days alone in my room listening to this mysterious masterpiece by those mysterious Nordic Gods-but it is still my favorite album of all time. It's a powerful statement of the human condition written in loosely connected, perfectly crafted pop gems that are somehow come together in the end as a sad but triumphant symphonic swan song.<br />....and now we know that the end it was not as new ABBA songs are promised for 2020.....at age 54 knowing the whole body of work by Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida I still don't feel smarter or wiser to ab able to predict what the new songs will sound. They will be amazing, for sure-but I would like to see if AN ALBUM could come after such a brilliant final one like The Visitors?Popculthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12212169859220323411noreply@blogger.com
